Why?
Well, the primary reason is that I can't. Blogspot is blocked in China. And trying to circumvent the restrictions is sometimes more work that it's worth.
Everytime I find a solution that allows me see blocked sites, the Great Firewall of China seems to get updated, and I can't see the site again.

- haven't joined facebook
- don't look at youtube
- etc.

I'm sorry to see the blog go, but understand why.
Though I don't comment often, it's one of my favorite stops on the web and I visit Beijing vicariously through your eyes and words and it has been enjoyable...'course I've seen, in person, some of the people, places, and events you write about and it's been a joy to follow your discoveries.
